2018 SAMBA FASHION SHOW
The Annual Samba Queen Contest is an integral part of the Brazilian Day Arizona Festival. Each year nearly a dozen contestant’s sign up to dance, shake, and groove for a chance to take home the crown! The annual Samba Queen Contest was started in 2010 as a special feature at Brazilian Day, to highlight one of the many different traditions held in Brazil; more specifically, held during “Carnaval” time. The contest consist of Samba Dancing, Crowd Interaction, Performance and overall Brazilian Spirit. The winner is crowned Queen at the end of the contest, and is given an official crown to keep for 1 calendar year.
SAMBA QUEEN RULES TO ENTER:
*Winner will be chosen by the judges and by Crowd Participation. Winner will receive the official title of Samba Queen 2016 for One calendar year + the Crown! and Gift bag courtesy of Afro:Baile.
*The event is open to all "Female" Contestants at the Festival
