Currently we are in the mix of creating an amazing line for this years event! Some old faces, some new, and some added elements that is sure to be crowd pleaser's! MARCH 17th 2013 : UPDATE Hello friends, fans, and family! We hope you are all doing very well! We just wanted to give you a quick update on the 4th Annual Brazilian Day Arizona Event. 1st we'd like address that we have "Officially Parted Ways" with the Tempe, Arizona venue, "910 Live". We are "No Longer" affiliated with them on any grounds, nor are we affiliated with any of our past performers, bands, etc who might continue to hold events there. We (Afro:Baile) hosted our event there for 3 years. While it was a great start for us, we have decided it was "Time to Move On", and expand to bigger and better opportunities that have presented itself. We wish them and the new promoters well. As for our event, the annual Brazilian Day Arizona is still the Official Brazilian Independence Day event in the valley, and 1 of only 5 "Official" Brazilian Day Events held in the U.S.A annually. While others may host events in the valley on the say day (Sept 7th), Brazilian Day Arizona is the "original" and largest event in Arizona - presented and promoted solely by Afro:Baile Records. Now! Thank you very much for all the continued support over the years! Brazilian Day Arizona has grown to be such an important event, not only in Arizona, but across the nation as we celebrate Brazilian Day with only 4 other City's nationwide! Other city's include New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and San Diego. We couldn't be more happy with all the success and notoriety that the event has received since we started it. For the past 2 years 2011 and 2012, Brazilian Arizona was Nominated Best Music Festival in Arizona by the Phoenix Newtimes! What an honor to be in the same categories as Warp Tour and the MMMFestival. Win or lose! We are just ecstatic to be shown so much love that you all nominated us! With that said we are please to announce the 4th Annual Brazilian Day Arizona will take place on Saturday September 7th 2013! We have already began work on a steller line-up that will include a plethora of Brazilian Bands, Dancers, Performers, Art, Martial Arts, and more! We don't want to give away to many details, but we will say, Brazilian Day Arizona has a new home! And a New direction that is sure to lead the way in Celebrations across the nation! Visit us here from time to time as we will be making announcements following our annual Carnaval Event (on March 2nd).
