Brazilian Day is proud to welcome Axe Capoeira!

Arizona's own "Grupo Axe Capoeira" is set to join us once again for a fun-filled afternoon of live Brazilian culture. The elite Capoeira Academy will perform, teach, and demonstrate various workshops and activities that include Brazilian Instruments (from across Brazil's various regions), Afro-Brazilian Song & Dance, Costume heritage  and of course Capoeira! You can expect to listen, learn, sing, and dance to the sounds of Afro, Coco de Roda, Maculele and much more!  

Grupo Axe Capoeira is comprised of students, professionals, moms, dads, and friends who are trained in Brazil, Canada and the USA. For more than 30 years, Axe Capoeira has traveled the world spreading "Axe" (good energy) through Capoeira, song and dance. They are regular performers at various festivals, events, concerts, and schools around the world. 

The activities & workshops are all ages, hands on,  interactive and fun for the whole family! Join us at the 6th Annual Brazilian Day Arizona Festival and learn the history of Brazilian culture!
