What is Brazilian Day & Why You Should Go?

The annual event known widely as “Brazilian Day” is a 1 day event celebrating Brazil’s Independence Day (Sept 7th). Each year, the event creates an open window to discover Brazilian Culture past and present through Music, Dance, Performance, Martial Arts, Food, Drinks and more! Part of our determination in celebrating Brazilian Day, is to promote Brazilian culture as both entertainment and education while exploring the traditional customs of Brazil and its many cultural influences.

Each year, the annual Brazilian Day Arizona Festival features a variety of live performances that are great for the whole family! With more than 40 performers, including live Brazilian bands, djs, dancers and instructors from Brazil, Los Angeles, and Arizona, attendees of the event will have the opportunity to not only watch and listen to live music, but also participate in Brazilian dance performances, play Brazilian instruments, and learn Brazilian martial arts.

If the music and dancing weren't entertainment enough, there will also be face painting, balloons and jewelry making for the kids to enjoy. Rounding out the festivities will be Food and beverage vendors along with a list of small business’s lining the walk ways, allowing festival goers to enjoy a day full of activities and a fun atmosphere.

The All Ages event welcomes everyone, young and old, from all walks of life, to join together, and celebrate Culture, Love, Freedom and Independence Day the Brazilian Way.

Whether you come to dance or hang out with friends and celebrate, everyone is guaranteed an incredible experience of music, dance, art, and culture immersed in the infectious energy of Brazil!
