Since the festival's inception in 2010, Brazilian Day Arizona Festival has continued to gain accolades and features in a number of publications, and media outlets year after year. The festival has enjoyed a wide variety of press from notable Magazines including National Geographic's TRAVEL MAGAZINE, and Southwest Airline's SOUTHWEST AIR MAGAZINE. Other media outlets include over a dozen live features on national TV in both English and Spanish as well as features in local Newspapers, Business Journals, Culture Magazines, and featured Blogs.
Not only has the annual Brazilian Day celebration made news headlines, but the festival has also received a number of nominations and awards both locally and nationally in the "Best of" categories for music and culture. Nomination and Awards include wining "Best Culture Festival in Scottsdale" by Scottsdale's Best in 2016, as well as being nominated in the Phoenix Newtimes for Best Music Festival (2011, 2012), and Nominated for "Best Brazilian Festival" in the USA by the Brazilian International Press Awards in 2014. |
