Explore Afro-Brazilian music and culture in a newly added Film Presentation!

Bom Dia! Rise and Shine!
It's Thursday and we have another great announcement and addition to the festival you won't want to miss!! This year, we are taking the festival one step further and adding a new element, FILM! We have worked closely with a much respected curator and world traveler who has explored various regions of Brazil, its culture, and history. This newest edition is just the latest in a string of new changes we’ve incorporated to this year’s 7th Annual Brazilian Day Arizona Festival

AFRO-BRAZILIAN FILM PRESENTATION:
The Afro-Brazilian Film presentation is meant to educate, entertain, and inspire communities to explore the deeper roots and regions of Brazilian music, and its many cultural traditions and influences. Presented by "Daniel Piper", Curator of the Musical Instrument Museum - MIM, Mr. Piper will showcase a sit down movie / slide reel of Afro-Brazilian music and culture that was personally captured on one of his many travels to Brazil. The segment is being produced to allow festival attendees to see a different side of Brazil, and how Africa has exposed so much rich history and cultural influence in what Brazil is today. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and Photos.

Remember! The festival is all ages, family friendly, and is perfect for the whole family! Brazilian Day is not just a music festival, but a introduction to Brazilian culture through music, dance, art, performance, food, drinks and more!
